It was that period with Kramer, Hamer, Jackson guitars..but also the Fender, the Gibson..

Since 1996 I’ve been hanging out at Bologna and start playing with FUORI MODA and CHARLIE10.

Bologna brings me up and introduces me to the world of “liuteria”, the art of manufacture of all stringed instruments, thanks to its well known luthiers that I meet and immediately appreciate!!

Thus I start manufacturing my first guitars….

As a consequence, and like a lot of guitar players, (or even all of them) I have needed to change my guitars to my taste , becoming more and more enthusiast, and started to spend a lot of time in my home basement learning how to improve my loved ones…

In year 2012 I met the big Fontanot  (now in ECHO with Varini) and the art and exactitude of the handles setup  won me over!!

I learn, go on learning every single technique and hangs out at the joiner’s workshop of my friend Claudio.

I improve and sharpen my taste and meet with my talent , finally  get being recognized thanks to my manufacturing & customization distinctions  in the 6 strings.

WHY DOES IGL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?

After having hanged out at the Carlo & Michele’s workshop throughout many years and learnt the luthiers know-how and techniques applied to the electric guitars, I decided to ground my future experience on the research of the ideal frequency transmission through the board HANDLE-BODY.

Therefore I decided that my research going forward would have been based and focused on the development of guitars  with gran sustain.

Then I found my favourite way in the Neck-thru manufacturing and brought my attention to the manufacturing of fully customized guitars on player’s demand.

For the refined palates, I manufacture entirely custom-made guitars, by choosing together with the customer himself the woods, the shape and the pick-ups, and everything else for a perfect assembly of your own one-off!!!

Moreover, I offer my “SIGNATURES”, these are models born from my research for the frequency transmission and by consequence featured by an even greater sustain…My Neck-thru arise from high-quality woods and flow into very stylish models, which are highly appreciated by those who are approaching IGL.
